Summary:

The Amityville Soccer Club / Challenger Athletics Soccer Program is seeking an exceptional young individual, preferably a high school sophomore or junior to volunteer and serve as our Soccer Program Director for Children with Disabilities for the year 2024. 

This program aims to create an inclusive and empowering sports environment for children with physical and learning disabilities. The program's mission is to develop independence, confidence, and self-esteem through socialization and non-competitive sports programs for individuals with disabilities. It is our intention to increase awareness and provide educational resources to the athlete, their families, and the larger community. The responsibilities of the Program Director include developing activity plans, recruiting student volunteers, effectively communicating with all stakeholders and ensuring the successful weekly execution of the program.

Program Dates: Planning Period – Winter 2024, Program Delivery - Spring 2024 (4 Weeks)
